21 October 2011 Friday: Ankara / Cappadocia
13:30 Departure from Rixos Premium Hotel in Belek - Antalya. Enjoy the drive through the panaromic Taurus Mountains to Cappadocia. On the way to Cappacocia we will have a brief stop to Konya. Konya was the capital of the Seljuk Turks in the 13th century. Visit the Mevlana Museum which is also known for its theological school of whirling dervishes. Then drive to Cappadocia for dinner and overnight.
22 October 2011 Saturday: Cappadocia
After breakfast we will visit Goreme Valley the land of earthen pyramids, stone dwellings, rock chapels with colorful frescoes and monasteries. Then proceed to Cavusin Village, Pasabag Valley with fairy chimneys and Avanos villages with its pottery galleries. We will drive to Ortahisar Village to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the area. Lunch wil be served during the tour in a typical Turkish Restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
23 October 2011 Sunday: Cappadocia / Ankara
After breakfast at the hotel departure for Kaymakli Underground City which was built by the early Christians to evade invading armies. Then we will drive to visit natural citadel of Uçhisar, Pigeon Valley and Avcılar location. After lunch we will stop for a 13th Century “Ağzıkarahan” Caravanserai built by the Seljuk Turks. On the way to Ankara we will also stop for a short walk on the Salt Lake( second largest lake of Turkey ). Then drive to Ankara. We will first stop at the hotel in Ankara for the ones who would like to have an additional night in the capital city. Then we will proceed to Esenboga Airport for the ones who will fly out from Ankara on the same evening.
Rate 1: 290.-EUR in double room per person ( minimum for 5 person )
Rate 2: 335.-EUR in double room per person ( min for 5 person ) with an additional night in Ankara.
Single Supplement 1: 60.-EUR
Single Supplement 2: 85.-EUR (with an additional night in Ankara )
Rate 3: 370.-EUR in double room per person ( min for 5 person ) with an additional night and an additional one way transfer in Ankara .
Rate includes:
- 2 nights HB accommodation in 4 * Yıltok Hotel in Cappadocia and 1 night BB accommodation in 4 * Buyukhanli Park Hotel in Ankara.
- 3 days guided tours of the area,
